Rygor Commercials is delighted to announce that its recent online charity fitness class raised £1745 through donations for Teenage Cancer Trust. This fantastic amount has been matched by the Rygor business, meaning that the charity receives a grand total of £3490 to help support its vital work with children and young people living with cancer.
The class was a great success and started bright an early on Friday 16th July, with Rygor team members; their friends and family, along with colleagues from the Mercedes-Benz Vans Dealer Network, working hard to raise money in support of a great cause.
Rygor owner-director, Paul Reed (who is also a qualified fitness coach and nutritionist), led 23 participants through a 40-minute session, filled with laughter and a great display of team spirit. In addition to raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, the class itself formed part of Rygor’s Wellness Programme, an initiative which has gained momentum throughout the recent pandemic and is integral to Rygor’s commitment to its teams mental and physical health.
Paul Reed said: “We care passionately about community support, and it was important to everyone at Rygor to get behind this event, raising money for such a worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who took part, sent messages of goodwill, and donated. You really did make a huge difference to the total raised. Team Rygor will continue to use online events to fundraise for causes close to our hearts, so make sure you look out for the next one!”
