Hultsteins and Addvolt are joining forces to host a powerpack demo day on Wednesday 25th September 2024, at Hultsteins’ premises in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
Guests can expect to see a showcase of products from Addvolt and Hultsteins, including innovative solutions from both manufacturers. For example, by combining an Addvolt powerpack with a Hultsteins’ Ecogen2 hydraulic generator, refrigerated transport operators can benefit from 100% electrically -powered refrigeration for both urban multi-drop and long-distance deliveries.
According to Hultsteins, Addvolt powerpacks are a perfect match for fitting to existing diesel fridges to transform them into full electric zero emission fridge units for urban operations. For multi-drop operations, run time can be extended by adding a propshaft alternator, so the powerpack is charged while the vehicle is on the road.
The open day, says Hultsteins, provides a superb opportunity for refrigerated fleet operators to see product demos in action and to ask questions. Visitors will also have the opportunity to find out which equipment solution best suits their specific operation, and to discover how Addvolt and Hultsteins can help cut both costs and carbon.
“We will also have demonstrations of our Ecogen and Ecofridge products, as well as the UK’s first fully electric fridge with a built-in battery. This is fitted to a 5.2M body,” says Hultsteins.
